Local food writer Tasia Celeste Bernie, author of the Substack The Headnote with Tasia Bernie, is included in the 2026 collection for her essay “The Caesura,” originally published in The Headnote.
 
This year’s anthology is selected by chef and humanitarian José Andrés and gathers food and travel writing from across the world—from Ramadan meals in Gaza to school lunches in Blue Ridge, Georgia, exploring the ways food, place, culture, and human lives intersect.
